Hi, I'm Mila

As a breast cancer survivor who turned to nutrition to heal my illness, I hope to impart the lessons and teachings that allowed me to reclaim my life, and help others in their wellness and healing journeys. I am immensely passionate about what I do, and I strive to instill that passion in others, empowering them to take accountability for their health and make lasting, sustained changes in their lives. I’ve traveled all around the world, drawing from different cultures and schools of medicine and nutrition to develop an approach that marries the best practices from across the globe.

My Mission

My mission is to teach others to make the best decisions for themselves, prevent and manage health conditions, and guide them along a path toward looking good and feeling good, both inside and out. I want to empower you to become the healthiest and happiest version of yourself.

My Story

I have always been passionate about eating healthy, but my journey to delivering nutrition awareness to others truly began many years ago when I was diagnosed with breast cancer. At the time, I was shocked. I couldn’t understand how I got so sick, as I truly believed I was eating healthy and taking care of my body. I still had much to learn. Determined to fight and beat my illness, I began to research anti-cancer diets and wellness practices to rid my body of this horrible disease. To my surprise, I learned that most of the foods available to us are not as healthy as we might think. Many are heavily processed and full of preservatives and artificial colors. In reality, I may have been hurting my body instead of helping it.

I also learned that stress and grief play a powerful role in the development of a variety of illnesses and chronic conditions. The recent loss of a parent hurt me deeply. A pain that physically manifested itself in the form of this potentially deadly disease. Learning to deal with this grief, and healthily manage stress was a key to my healing process.

Healing is not just about eating the right things, or exercising the right amount. Or even practicing yoga or meditation. It’s about understanding the interconnectivity between the mind, body and soul, and ensuring that no part of the human condition is neglected. Thankfully, I connected the dots and was successfully able to rid my body of cancer and survive with a greater understanding and appreciation for life. An understanding that I hope to share with all of you.
